STRANGE BIRTH

Strange Birth is a collaborative project encompassing The Grant Museum of Comparative Anatomy at University College London and the Museum of Natural History, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Within this work I wanted to explore primary and pre-verbal imagery and our physical relationship with beginnings, endings and evolution.

I tried to create pictures where there was an emotional connection with the shadowy memories that unite and move us forward.

Strange Birth was exhibited at the Grant Museum in 2005 and is also an artist book.
